Assistant Manager

Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, as well as the ability to foster a positive work environment that encourages team development and growth. Duties Support the Store Manager in daily operations and management of store staff. Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data, manage inventory, and assist in budgeting processes. Drive retail sales by engaging with customers, promoting products, and negotiating effectively. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service. Help manage store inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and teamwork. Act as a point of contact for staff issues or concerns, providing guidance and support as needed. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager is preferred. Strong understanding of retail math principles and budgeting practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Proficient in negotiating techniques to enhance sales opportunities. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance customer engagement. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the store's needs.
