The Wireless Sales Agent offers professional advice on accessible wireless and device programs, ensuring every community interaction is personal, friendly, and geared toward overcoming barriers to critical communication. Core Functions of the Wireless Sales Agent Engage with customers at local events and pop‑up activations, starting conversations about connectivity needs and highlighting available smartphone and data solutions. As a Wireless Sales Agent, educate residents on wireless assistance programs by simplifying eligibility requirements into clear steps that help applicants secure reliable cell phone service. Qualify prospective customers during event interactions, conducting thorough assessments to match them with the most suitable mobile devices and service plans. Process new customer enrollments and distribute smartphones with precision, ensuring accurate documentation, secure data handling, and compliance with program standards. Provide immediate support for device setup and activation, answering initial questions and guiding customers so they feel confident using their new cell phones. Advance professional skills by mastering structured sales strategies, progressing from event support roles to leading larger community marketing initiatives. Education & Experience Needed for the Wireless Sales Agent High school diploma or GED required; additional studies in Communications, Marketing, or Social Work preferred for career growth. Experience in event marketing, retail, or hospitality with proven ability to build rapport with customers and represent a strong brand image. Strong communication and listening skills to clearly explain wireless service benefits and resolve customer questions. Proficiency with tablets, mobile apps, and cloud‑based CRM tools to securely manage records and track performance during field events Preferred Skills for the Wireless Sales Agent Adapts easily to changing locations, schedules, and outreach needs. Builds trust through respectful, professional interactions with customers. Balances speed and accuracy during high-volume enrollment periods.
