This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer-facing coordination with behind-the-scenes sales support. In this role, you will help keep proposals, outreach efforts, and order activity organized while partnering closely with sales and marketing teams to strengthen business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day support for the sales team, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and handling follow-up tasks tied to active opportunities.
- Partner with sales representatives to develop proposal content, assemble client-facing materials, and contribute to sales development activities.
- Help manage the creation and submission of response documents for qualification requests, information requests, and formal proposals.
- Prepare materials for client outreach meetings, assist with scheduling and appointment readiness, and track post-meeting follow-up actions.
- Contribute to new business growth by supporting lead generation efforts and helping expand relationships within target markets.
- Conduct prospecting activities, including outbound calling within assigned territories or market segments, to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Work with marketing to support campaign execution, webinar coordination, and targeted outreach initiatives for specific industries or program areas.
- Collaborate closely with key sales team members to organize opportunity data, maintain records, and support pipeline visibility across multiple programs. Requirements
- Experience in sales support, inside sales, or a related customer-focused administrative role.
- Ability to assist with both inbound and outbound sales activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to help prepare proposals, quotes, and client-facing documents.
- Comfortable performing prospecting and cold-calling activities to support business development goals.
- Proficiency in managing sales data, tracking follow-up items, and maintaining organized records.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
