• August 7, 2026 Description We are looking for a customer-focused Sales Assistant to join a contract opportunity with permanent potential in Waite Park, Minnesota.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers identify the right products, supporting sales activity, and delivering responsive service throughout the order process. You will work closely with customers and the sales team to provide timely quotes, process orders accurately, and strengthen client relationships through dependable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand product needs, answer questions, and recommend suitable solutions based on their requirements
• Prepare pricing information and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely communication to support purchasing decisions
• Enter and manage customer orders, maintaining precise records and coordinating follow-up as needed
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to outside sales representatives to help keep accounts and sales activities organized
• Deliver post-sale assistance by tracking order status, resolving service-related issues, and keeping customers informed
• Contribute to monthly sales performance goals by supporting account activity and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain clear communication through phone and email while managing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
• Use business systems and spreadsheets to update account details, document interactions, and support reporting needs. Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in sales support, customer service, inbound sales, or a related role
• Strong ability to communicate professionally with customers through phone, email, and written correspondence
• Proven skill in handling multiple priorities with accuracy, urgency, and strong attention to detail
• Experience with order entry, quote preparation, account support, or other administrative sales functions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort using ERP or business systems such as SAP
• Ability to build positive customer relationships and provide effective support throughout the sales cycle
• Self-motivated approach with strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
