Onsite Sales Assistant (NC Licensed) Homes by Dickerson Real Estate LLC Reports to: Senior Onsite Real Estate Agent /
BIC Work Locations:
Multiple Homes by Dickerson communities/model homes (rotation based on coverage needs) Position Overview As a real estate broker with Homes by Dickerson Real Estate Company, I am seeking a licensed Onsite Sales Assistant to support our senior onsite agents by providing consistent, professional coverage in our model homes. This role is ideal for a licensed real estate professional who enjoys working directly with buyers, thrives in a structured sales environment, and wants a clear pathway to becoming a full Onsite Sales Agent. You will serve as a frontline presence in our model homes— welcoming prospects, conducting showings, answering questions, capturing, and working leads and follow up, and ensuring a seamless handoff to the senior onsite agent for continued follow-up and contract conversion. You will rotate between a few communities/properties, primarily to cover scheduled days off, appointments, and onsite needs. Key Responsibilities Onsite Customer Experience & Showings Staff model homes during assigned hours and represent Homes by Dickerson with a polished, service-forward approach. Greet walk-in visitors and scheduled appointments promptly and professionally. Conduct model home tours and community/home site showings, highlighting product features, quality, and value. Answer buyer questions clearly and accurately using approved community information, pricing guidance, and process expectations. Lead Intake, Qualification, and Follow-Up Support Capture buyer information accurately and completely (walk-ins, phone calls, online inquiries, and appointment traffic). Ask thoughtful qualifying questions to understand timeline, budget, needs, financing status, and desired community. Enter and maintain lead activity in the CRM and/or internal lead tracking system in accordance with company standards. Maintain follow-up activity consistent with onsite direction (calls, texts, emails) while ensuring the senior agent remains the primary point of contact for closing activities. Process Knowledge & Buyer Handoff Learn and consistently communicate Homes by Dickerson's sales process, including next steps, pre-qualification expectations, appointments, and buyer journey milestones. Coordinate a smooth, timely handoff of interested and qualified buyers to the senior onsite agent, including complete notes, key buyer priorities, and urgency level. Keep senior onsite agents informed of onsite traffic, active prospects, and follow-up needs during coverage days. Model Home & Community Readiness Open/close model homes per assigned schedule and maintain a professional presentation (cleanliness, signage, collateral stocked, lights/locks/thermostats set per standards). Ensure feature lists, and community materials are current and properly displayed. Maintain compliance with company policies regarding disclosures, buyer registration, and Fair Housing practices. Coverage & Team Support Work across multiple communities/properties to provide consistent onsite coverage, including coverage for days off and scheduled gaps. Collaborate with senior onsite agents and internal partners to ensure the onsite experience is consistent across communities. Required Qualifications Active North Carolina Real Estate License in good standing (required). Active NCDL Required Professional, customer-facing communication skills (in-person, phone, email, text). Strong organizational habits and attention to detail, especially with lead documentation and buyer notes. Ability to work independently onsite while following established processes and reporting expectations. Comfort using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and calendar tools to track appointments and follow-up. Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends and some holidays based on community traffic and coverage needs. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but Helpful) Onsite new construction sales experience (builder community or brokerage onsite experience). Familiarity with the buyer journey in new construction (timeline, selections/design, financing milestones, contract-to-close). Proven ability to convert walk-in traffic into scheduled follow-up appointments. Performance Expectations (What Success Looks Like) Models are staffed on time, presented professionally, and operated according to company standards. Buyer traffic is consistently captured, documented, and worked with timely follow-up and complete notes. Qualified prospects are handed off to senior onsite agents with clear next steps and minimal information gaps. You demonstrate increasing mastery of our homes, communities, and sales process—becoming a reliable extension of the onsite team. Growth Path This role is designed as a stepping-stone into onsite sales pathway. After approximately six (6) months , high-performing Onsite Sales Assistants may be considered for advancement into a Full Onsite Agent position as business needs and openings allow. Advancement will be based on performance, process adherence, professionalism, and demonstrated readiness to manage the onsite sales cycle more independently.
