Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to support a retail sales team in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. This Contract to permanant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right solutions. The role offers a fully on-site, team-oriented environment where strong communication, organization, and sales follow-through are essential to success.
Responsibilities:
- Connect with prospective customers to learn about their needs and introduce suitable product options.
- Apply a consultative sales style to present tailored recommendations and help move opportunities toward purchase decisions.
- Record customer conversations, follow-ups, and sales updates accurately in company systems.
- Work closely with colleagues to contribute to team sales results and maintain a supportive workplace culture.
- Build knowledge of products and market developments to improve customer conversations and selling effectiveness.
- Take part in team discussions and training sessions to strengthen sales techniques and overall performance.
- Use office and sales technology effectively to manage daily activities and keep work organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in inside sales, direct sales, inbound sales, outbound sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decisions professionally.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or other sales-support software.
- Excellent organizational abilities and close attention to detail when handling records and follow-up tasks.
- Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday in a collaborative team environment.
- A positive attitude, persistence, and a results-driven approach to meeting sales goals.
