Job Description

Sherwin-Williams is hiring for our Management & Sales Training Program in Columbia, SC. In this full-time role, you'll learn store operations, sales, and basic manufacturing-related processes while working with industry-leading paints and coatings. You'll rotate through hands-on assignments in customer service, territory sales support, inventory, and merchandising, building technical product knowledge and leadership skills. Our collaborative, performance-driven culture offers structured training, mentoring, and a clear path into management or sales roles across our global organization. Responsibilities Complete a structured rotational program across sales, store operations, and basic manufacturing support functions. Develop product and technical knowledge of Sherwin-Williams coatings and related solutions for industrial and commercial customers. Support inside and outside sales activities, including prospecting, customer visits, and quoting to grow territory revenue. Assist with inventory, merchandising, store presentation, and order fulfillment to ensure operational excellence. Analyze customer needs and provide recommendations that align with safety, quality, and performance standards. Track performance metrics, prepare basic reports, and share insights with managers to improve results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams while modeling Sherwin-Williams values of safety, integrity, and customer focus. Participate actively in all required training, coaching, and assessments to prepare for management or sales roles.
