We are seeking a driven and performance-focused Phone Sales Agent to join our growing sales team. Position Overview The Phone Sales Agent is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls with the primary objective of converting opportunities into completed orders. This role requires strong product comprehension, confidence in closing sales, and the ability to guide customers to the correct part quickly and accurately. This is not a passive order-taking role. The ideal candidate actively listens, identifies needs, overcomes objections, and drives revenue while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound sales calls and convert inquiries into completed orders Make outbound follow-up calls on open quotes, abandoned carts, and part inquiries Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts and accessories Accurately confirm model numbers, compatibility, and order details Cross-sell and upsell complementary products when appropriate Follow up on high-value quotes to maximize close rates Document all call activity and outcomes in the system Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets Maintain professionalism and urgency during high call-volume periods Performance Expectations & KPIs Conversion rate on inbound calls Outbound quote close rate Revenue per call Average order value Daily outbound call volume Accuracy rate and low order error percentage Contribution to gross profit Qualifications 1-3 years of phone-based sales experience preferred Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Strong verbal communication skills and confident phone presence Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Experience in appliance, HVAC, OPE, or parts sales is a plus
