Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Retirement Plan Sales Assistant to support the growth and business development efforts of our Retirement Services team. This role provides administrative, sales, and marketing support to our sales team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where relationship-building and client service are keys to success. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Experience with Monday.com, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other CRM or sales enablement tools is highly desirable. Duties & Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Retirement Services sales team. Manage and maintain sales pipelines by tracking opportunities, follow-up activities, referral sources, and lead status. Schedule and coordinate meetings, presentations, webinars, , sales calls, etc. Prepare proposals, presentations, marketing materials, RFP responses, meeting agendas, reports, and follow-up communications. Maintain accurate prospect, client, and sales activity records within Salesforce, Monday.com, and other internal systems. Generate sales reports, dashboards, and documentation to support business development efforts and leadership reporting. Draft and distribute professional communications Coordinate internal resources to support sales opportunities, onboarding activities, and client transitions. Serve as a professional point of contact for prospects, clients, advisors, and referral partners, delivering exceptional customer service and relationship management. Maintain organized records, documentation, meeting notes, and action items while ensuring timely follow-up and follow-through on sales activities. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of the Retirement Services team. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette, email correspondence, and presentation preparation. Ability to interact professionally and confidently with clients, prospects, referral partners, and senior leadership. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, or other CRM/project management platforms preferred. Familiarity with LinkedIn and other business networking tools Ability to prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and sales-related documentation. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Previous experience supporting sales, business development, financial services, retirement plans, employee benefits, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
