This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, presenting tailored technical solutions, and driving revenue growth through value-based selling. The ideal candidate is both customer-focused and technically savvy, capable of communicating complex information clearly and persuasively. Position Responsibilities Client Engagement & Solution Development Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand technical requirements Present customized solutions that align with customer goals and product capabilities Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and cost estimates Technical Expertise & Support Serve as the technical point of contact for the sales team and clients Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and alignment Provide product demonstrations, training, and post-sales technical support Sales Strategy & Growth Contribute to sales planning and identify new business opportunities Support quoting and bidding processes with accurate technical input Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business Market Intelligence Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive products Provide insights to internal teams for product development and innovation Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, or related field preferred 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or a similar role Strong understanding of mechanical or industrial systems Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Certified Sales Professional (CSP) Technical Sales Engineer Certification Engineering license or equivalent technical credential What the Role Offers Competitive base salary: $60,000 - $90,000 Performance-based incentives and commission opportunities Cross-functional exposure and professional development The chance to work with innovative products and technologies Supportive, team-oriented culture Why Scottsdale?
