Job Description
This is a 6-month contract position as a GEP Smart Product Support Engineer/Analyst supporting a Source-to-Pay Transformation Program. The role is based onsite in Boyton Beach, Florida, and focuses on production support, cross-system troubleshooting, integrations, procurement workflows, master data, testing, and GEP configuration within a hybrid procurement environment. Responsibilities Triage and resolve GEP Smart production issues involving Materials and Services Procurement, Service POs, Service Confirmations, vendor catalogs, approval workflows, and user access. Troubleshoot end-to-end transaction failures between GEP and SAP using GEP Click and SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO). Support Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities in GEP, including contract creation, approvals, amendments, renewals, and migration of legacy contracts from SAP SRM. Work with SAP functional teams when GEP-originated transactions fail to post correctly in SAP for invoice processing and financial reconciliation. Monitor and troubleshoot master data interfaces involving suppliers, materials/services, cost centers, purchasing organizations, and other organizational structures. Identify recurring production issues and implement preventive measures. Support business-unit-specific GEP configurations, including approval hierarchies, notifications, roles, and permissions. Execute SIT, regression, and UAT testing for GEP features, configurations, and SAP-GEP integrations. Support GEP Spend Analytics data validation across business-unit hierarchies. Work with Scrum Masters and workstream leads to manage the support backlog and participate in Agile/Sprint ceremonies. Qualifications Required 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with GEP Smart across Materials Procurement, Services Procurement, Source-to-Contract, and Spend Analytics. Experience supporting GEP within a hybrid GEP/SAP procurement environment. Strong understanding of GEP document flows and system-of-record boundaries. Experience with GEP Click and familiarity with SAP PO or similar integration middleware. Strong understanding of Service PO and Service Confirmation workflows and their integration with SAP. Experience troubleshooting GEP-SAP master data interfaces. Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar defect/backlog management tools. Preferred Utility or energy industry experience. Agile/SAFe experience.
