Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Overview We are seeking a full-time Audio Engineering Intern at Garmin's Miramar, FL location. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with designing and testing acoustic components and audio products while working alongside experienced engineers. Essential Functions Assist with the design, prototyping, and testing of acoustic components and audio systems Support product testing activities by following established test procedures, collecting data, and documenting results Help create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), test documentation, and product verification records Assist engineering teams with the assembly of prototype audio products Develop assembly and test fixtures, enclosures, and related components using CAD software such as SolidWorks Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product introduction activities and troubleshoot production-related issues Work with test engineers and factory personnel to support product testing and production Research emerging audio technologies, components, and industry trends to support product development efforts Assist with maintaining product documentation and engineering records in accordance with configuration control processes Participate in product evaluations and provide feedback on products in development as part of the learning experience
