We are seeking an experienced SMT Process Engineer / Technical Center Lead to drive technical center operations, customer demonstrations, and proof-of-concept builds. This role provides hands-on process engineering, technical leadership, and continuous optimization of complex SMT equipment and connected smart factory solutions. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily Technical Center operations, ensuring priorities, equipment readiness, safety, and customer readiness are met. Plan and lead customer demonstrations, technical evaluations, product trials, and proof-of-concept builds from preparation to final follow-up. Configure, program, operate, and optimize Fuji placement equipment and supporting SMT line systems. Perform high-level troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, software, programming, and process-related issues. Demonstrate Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 capabilities, including MES connectivity and line communication standards. Maintain equipment, feeders, tooling, software, boards, and consumables in top operational condition. Prepare detailed demonstration reports, technical summaries, process recommendations, and customer-facing materials. Support major industry trade show activities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent directly relevant industry experience).

Experience:

10+ years of extensive experience in SMT process engineering or a closely related technical field.

Technical Mastery:

Advanced troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, software, and SMT material-handling systems.

Smart Factory Knowledge:

Solid understanding of Industry 4.0, MES connectivity, and data-driven SMT production.

Demonstration Skills:

Proven ability to independently define application requirements and present solutions directly to clients. Physical Requirements Daily standing, walking, and working with hand/automated tools. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, balancing, or standing for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).
