JOB SUMMARY
To support the sales force of Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. and its dealers/representatives in support of direct and indirect sales efforts for the Falcon product line. Responsible for technical and aircraft performance comparisons between Falcon model aircraft and their competitors.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): Under supervision of the Manager, Sales Engineering, Senior Sales Engineer, and Senior Director, Marketing & Communications, the Sales Engineer is responsible for the technical and aircraft performance comparisons of Falcon model aircraft and their competitors. These efforts are to support the sales force of Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. and its Dealers/Agents in support of direct and indirect sales efforts of the Falcon product line.
Specifically:
Research flight manuals, technical publications, competitors literature, etc., in development of customized product comparisons for sales prospects. Use of pertinent software and flight manual charts to calculate range, takeoff, climb, cruise, and landing performance of Falcon and competitor aircraft. Create customized sales presentations using all applicable PC and technical library tools. Coordinate with Dassault Aviation; Manager, Sales Engineering; and Senior Director, Marketing & Communications, in creation of new comparison brochures and dissemination of new product information. Assist RSMs with technical / performance support via MS Teams, phone, e-mail, or on-site. Work with Manager, Sales Engineering, other Sales Engineering staff, and Dassault Aviation to revise and update competitive database, Falcon Pocket Guide, and FalconEdge to support sales efforts, meetings, and conventions. Support major RFPs (requests for proposals) efforts as required. Assist in development of advertising and direct mailings; ensure technical accuracy of advertising copy. Maintain technical library, computer database, and technical brochures. Other duties as assigned by Manager, Sales Engineering, Senior Sales Engineer, and/or Senior Director, Marketing & Communications.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in aeronautical or aerospace engineering. Minimum 0-5 years of experience in aeronautical/aerospace engineering, with knowledge of sales & marketing strategies Minimum 0-5 years of experience directly related to the Falcon product line. Knowledge in the use of aircraft flight and performance manuals as well as Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Knowledge of desktop flight planning or internet-based software programs. Must be able to analyze technical information and statistics. Must be able to organize and present technical information in clear and concise words and graphics for use in oral/written presentations. Motivated self-starter who takes the initiative to start new projects, set priorities, and work within short-term deadlines. Must be software literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
0 5 years of personal and/or aviation-industry experience. Masters degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Bachelors in AE/AS w/MBA. Conversational French is a plus. Private or commercial pilot ratings is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work under sudden rush deadlines in a fast paced environment. Flexibility in work schedule as working late and sometimes on weekends may be necessary. Most work is completed using a PC network and MS Office 360

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The compensation for this position typically falls between $95,000 and $105,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime.

the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location.
