This role is responsible for identifying customer challenges, designing solution strategies, delivering presentations and demonstrations, and supporting successful business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong networking and infrastructure expertise with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical and business strategies that support revenue growth. Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technology solutions. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and whiteboard sessions. Build relationships with customer stakeholders across IT, operations, and security teams. Support opportunity qualification, competitive evaluations, and sales forecasting activities. Identify new business opportunities and assist in expanding existing customer relationships. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions. Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed (approximately 40-50%). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, network engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting. Strong understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN/LAN architectures, and network performance management. Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of cloud, virtualization, security, and modern infrastructure technologies. Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs and supporting technical sales engagements. Excellent presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills. Professional networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus. MBA or formal presentation training preferred.
