We manufacture smart packaging systems, including smart bottle packaging lines, smart inspection packaging lines and smart flexible packaging lines, as well as other supporting equipment for the pharmaceutical, food, confectionary, beverage and electronics industries. We are searching for a Sales Engineer for the East Coast area. Our Sales Engineers engage in the negotiation of product sales into our target markets. This role will be expected to provide high level technical sales support to prospective and existing customers. You will be responsible for recommending and promoting the products best suited to maximize our customer's productivity. This position requires understanding customer needs and exploring all options in order to offer appropriate products and solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will be challenging and will substantially reward excellence from someone that has ambition, business integrity and motivation. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for cultivating business with our existing clients and generating sales with targeted new customers throughout the country. General Duties and Responsibilities Provide world-class sales support and customer service Provide support to existing customer base to create repeat order opportunities Generate leads by networking and prospecting Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs Answer questions about products, warranties, prices, availability, and applications On-site product demonstrations and some after-sale product training Present customers with product information and catalogs and answer all questions about credit terms, product prices and availability Clearly identify product configuration based on customer's request, give sales presentation and submit formal customer quotations Extensive, well documented, interaction with customers, partners and team via phone and email Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application Listen, understand and convey customer requirements, identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth Maintain professional business relationships with target or assigned accounts Meet or exceed expectations for new customer generation and sales revenue targets, on quarterly bases, with measurable performance indicators Assess situations and offer solutions that meet customers' needs Management of CRM database information Assist with basic office administration (phones, emails, etc.) as needed Work with engineering teams to develop custom solutions Participate in sales meetings, trade shows and customer visits as required Prepare quotations including detailed explanations of the solutions being offered Secure deposits and balance of payments from clients Manage leads from opportunity to book and support through shipment Travel to assigned territory as required Comply and uphold the company's rules and regulations and actively protect the company's interests, profits, and image. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Engineering degree

PREFERRED

•Four (4) year degree in electronics, technology, computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering 5 years technical sales experience 2 years Customer Service experience

•Desired Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, networking, lead generation and prospecting skills Strong computer skills Excellent email and phone etiquette skills including attention to grammar and spelling.

Pay:

$65,000.00

•$75,000.00 per year
