Arc Flash Sales Representative - Eastern US Sunbelt Solomon United States, Ohio, Tipp City Aug 26, 2026 Power Solutions Group (PSG) a Sunbelt Solomon company is seeking a driven, technically savvy Arc Flash Analysis Sales Representative to lead the expansion of our electrical engineering services across the Eastern United States. In this high-impact role, you will develop new business, grow strategic customer relationships, and drive sales of arc flash studies, short-circuit studies, coordination studies, and related power system engineering services. Working closely with PSG's sales, engineering, and operations teams, you will identify opportunities, build trusted customer partnerships, and guide projects from initial engagement through award. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional who understands electrical power systems and thrives on creating new opportunities while expanding existing accounts. Territory The role supports PSG's Eastern U.S. region, with a primary focus on markets surrounding our locations in: Ohio (Tipp City, Columbus) Connecticut (Middletown) Maine (Bethel) South Carolina (Greenville) North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham) Alabama (Bay Minette) Florida (Jacksonville) Mississippi (Jackson) Tennessee (Clarksville) Travel throughout the territory is required. What You'll Do Drive Business Growth Develop and execute a territory growth strategy for PSG's arc flash and engineering services. Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship development. Expand existing PSG accounts by identifying engineering service opportunities within current testing and maintenance customers. Build relationships with facility owners, electrical contractors, engineering firms, data centers, industrial manufacturers, and commercial customers. Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract award. Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets. Deliver Technical Solutions Promote and sell services including: Arc Flash Hazard Analysis Short-Circuit Studies Protective Device Coordination Studies Electrical System Modeling Equipment Labeling & Data Collection Power System Studies Additional Electrical Engineering Services While you won't perform the engineering work, you'll serve as the trusted advisor who understands customer needs and communicates the value of PSG's solutions. Grow Strategic Accounts Develop long-term account strategies for key customers. Cross-sell engineering services alongside PSG's testing and maintenance offerings. Identify facility expansions, upgrades, and capital projects that create new opportunities. Establish relationships with stakeholders ranging from facility managers and engineers to executive leadership. Collaborate for Success Partner with engineering, estimating, sales, and operations teams to develop winning solutions. Maintain an accurate pipeline and sales forecast within CRM. Provide market intelligence and opportunity updates to leadership. Required Proven success in technical sales, business development, electrical services, or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical power systems and industrial/commercial electrical infrastructure. Ability to communicate technical concepts to engineers, contractors, and facility leadership. Demonstrated track record of developing new business and growing customer accounts. Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage a multi-state territory. Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Eastern U.S. Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience selling arc flash studies, power system studies, electrical engineering services, or NETA testing services. Knowledge of
NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, IEEE
1584, and NEC standards. Experience supporting data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturers, utilities, or electrical contractors. Established relationships within the electrical services or engineering community. Success selling complex technical solutions with consultative, longer-cycle sales processes.
