Job Overview We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales growth for custom control panels, automation solutions, and low-voltage electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background with expertise in UL 508A control panel design, industrial controls, and automation systems. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers by identifying their needs, recommending technical solutions, and providing guidance throughout the sales process and project lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, consulting engineers, and industrial end users. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for UL 508A control panels, automation systems, and electrical control solutions. Review customer specifications, electrical drawings, and project requirements to develop technical solutions and accurate quotations. Provide application engineering support and recommend appropriate control system architectures and components. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution. Present technical presentations, product demonstrations, and provide customer training. Assist in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and bid packages. Support customers during project development, installation, startup, and commissioning phases. Maintain project pipelines, forecasts, and customer interactions within CRM systems.
