This opportunity offers exposure to highly technical and complex applications, providing engineers with the chance to work on diverse projects across multiple industries while developing expertise in customized engineered products. Job Description Review customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet application needs Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements Perform engineering calculations and product selection activities Create technical proposals, quotations, and solution recommendations Estimate project costs using engineering analysis, historical data, and company tools Serve as a technical resource for customers, sales teams, and internal departments Coordinate project handoffs to engineering teams upon order receipt Support product testing, data collection, and performance evaluations Prepare and deliver technical presentations and customer training Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and occasional field support activities Work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines and priorities Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering tools, processes, and documentation MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred 2-5 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, process systems, or related industries Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications CAD experience required Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience with pumps, skids, fluid handling, spray systems, nozzles, or chemical processing equipment SAP experience Bilingual Spanish skills AutoCAD or Inventor experience Background supporting technical sales, applications engineering, or customer solution development What's on Offer Base salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Annual discretionary bonus, historically around $6,000 401(k) with company match Comprehensive healthcare benefits PTO progression based on tenure Hybrid schedule available after onboarding and training period Stable organization with long-term career growth opportunities
