Job Description

Job Description An employer is looking for a Veterinary Imaging Sales Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between the client and their veterinary practice customers. You'll own the hands-on setup and configuration of imaging equipment, ensure seamless integration with their platform, and be a trusted technical advisor to practices throughout their journey. This is a hybrid technical and client-facing role. You'll spend roughly half your time configuring DICOM connections, troubleshooting imaging workflows, and working with our engineering team — and the other half on calls with practice managers, sonographers, and IT contacts, making sure they're set up for success.
Tasks will include:
Technical Setup & Integration
  •  Configure veterinary imaging equipment (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI) to send studies to the platform via DICOM protocol
  •  Set up and troubleshoot DICOM connections including AET configuration, IP/port routing, and transfer syntax negotiation
  •  Work with practice IT teams and imaging equipment vendors to resolve network and connectivity issues
  •  Manage account configuration within the client's platform for new and existing practices
  •  Support remote setup sessions via Zoom and TeamViewer, walking practices through equipment configuration
  •  Occasionally travel on-site to practices for complex installations or high-value accounts Client-Facing & Sales Support
  •  Lead technical onboarding for new practices, ensuring a smooth go-live experience
  •  Serve as the technical point of contact during the sales process — joining demos, answering integration questions, and building confidence with prospective clients
  •  Collaborate with the support and operations team to triage and resolve client-reported issues
  •  Document setup procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for internal and client use
  •  Provide feedback to the engineering and product teams based on field experience and client needs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
