Join our team as a Sales Engineer, where you'll engage with customers via phone and email, collaborating with internal and external partners to meet their needs. You'll conduct technical sales briefings and research customer specifications to tailor product solutions. This role will be a hybrid role expecting travel 1-2 years down the road. Travel will consist of 1-2 days on the road a week supporting a territory including southern Wisconsin. Roles and Responsibilities Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents such as prints, CAD files, and specifications Full understanding of tolerances, materials, specifications, and processing options that will guide a robust metal supply chain creation Manage part specific supply chains by utilizing internal and external processing assets to meet customer quality and delivery requirements Estimate material, labor, and delivery options on a part-level basis and develop contract pricing templates based on awarded work Evaluating sales proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organization's quality standards Conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific prices All other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred 1-3 years of sales experience in the metal industry Print reading required. CAD or drafting experience a plus Experience with SAP is highly preferred MS Office software skills required, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Experience in sales or customer service is an asset Working knowledge of geometry, strong math skills, and a technical aptitude
