Job Description
Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Solution Engineer for a leading provider of Industrial IoT and AI-based optimization cloud software for advanced manufacturing.
Location:
Maryland, United States (On-site/ Work from Home) Travel:
Up to 5% travel to customer sites across the U.S. Citizenship:
U.S. Citizenship required. Key Deliverables The Solution Engineer is a key player in an exciting, customer facing role that couples technical and interpersonal skills to successfully implement the company's product offerings. The Solution Engineer will work within defined project teams to perform a wide range of activities- from process analysis and identification of customer needs to technical implementation, application configuration and development

Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with customers and partners to understand their business and operational requirements and pain points. Participate in the solution-design process to ensure deliverables meet customer needs. Lead the implementation process of production optimization solutions, including project management, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and hands-on application configuration and testing. Work with sub-contractors as necessary. Provide technical support to customers during and after the implementation phase. Deliver technical training to customer technical staff. Provide on-site support to customers to ensure successful deployment. Consult and assist customers in fine-tuning application functionality and optimization elements to meet their operational and business objectives. Provide technical and process-related support to the sales team during the pre- sales phase, including solution scoping, product demonstrations, and addressing technical questions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. Experience:
2+ years in a customer-facing technical delivery role, deploying enterprise SaaS applications. Domain Knowledge:
Strong grasp of industrial engineering, operational data (proficient in Excel), and manufacturing workflows. Project Execution:
Proven ability to manage implementation timelines, mitigate project risks, and independently drive executive and shop-floor alignment. Experience with the implementation of enterprise commercial business application (e.g.CRM, MES, ERP
)- advantage Working knowledge of Hardware components (Desktops, Laptops, Servers) Working knowledge of Windows PC/Server maintenance and troubleshooting Working knowledge of networking components and infrastructure (Lan / Wan, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, FW)
- advantage A team player with excellent interpersonal skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentationskills Willingness to travel: up to 5% when appropriate
