A premier, rapidly expanding leading water infrastructure solution platform is hiring a Sales Representative to lead statewide market expansion across Texas. This role focuses on direct B2B technical solution sales—specifically trenchless pipe rehabilitation and modular stormwater management systems—to civil engineering design firms, municipal public works, water districts, and utility contractors.
Key Responsibilities Direct Sales & Business Development:
Execute targeted outreach and direct sales to civil engineers, specifiers, municipal procurement officers, and contractors across Texas. Engineering Specification ("Spec-In"): Work directly with civil design consultants to get proprietary water technologies specified into project plans and municipal standards.
Lunch & Learn Programs:
Plan, deliver, and manage 4-5 technical Lunch & Learn (L&L) presentations per month to engineering consultancies and public works agencies to build qualified project stock.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain 2-3x pipeline coverage to consistently secure quarterly contract awards across core solution lines (SPR pipe rehabilitation, Cross Wave stormwater, and advanced water treatment).
Activity & KPI Tracking:
Execute 8-12 monthly customer follow-ups and submit 2-3 formal proposals per month, logging all leads, proposals, and pipeline milestones in CRM.
Showroom & Technical Support:
Utilize our Houston demonstration facility for client visits, product demonstrations, and technical meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications Houston Residency:
Must currently reside in Houston or surrounding areas to manage regional client relationships effectively.
Experience:
3+ years of B2B technical sales experience in civil infrastructure, municipal water/wastewater, stormwater management, trenchless technology, or heavy construction.
Specification Sales:
Proven track record of navigating municipal procurement cycles, reading civil engineering blueprints, and influencing engineering design specifications.
Presentation Skills:
Confident public speaker with experience delivering technical presentations to civil engineers and public agency decision-makers.
Travel & Licensing:
Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to travel within Texas (primarily day trips within region).
Work Authorization:
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Construction Management. Specialized experience selling spirally wound lined pipe (SPR), cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), trenchless rehabilitation, or subsurface stormwater detention systems. Active network with Texas municipal public works departments, river authorities, DOT projects, or major engineering firms. Proficiency with CRM platforms and structured sales pipeline reporting.
