Sales Engineer (Machinery)

[ Position ] Sales Engineer (Food Processing Machinery) [ Summary ] A Japanese machinery company is seeking a motivated and technically-skilled Sales Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of machinery. In this role, you will be the technical point of contact for their clients, handling everything from equipment selection and installation to hands-on troubleshooting. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineering professional with a passion to bridge the gap between technical expertise and client satisfaction. [ Essential Duties ] Lead the on-site installation, setup, and commissioning (trial runs) of food machinery at client facilities. Consult with clients to understand their production requirements and assist in selecting the appropriate machinery and equipment configurations. Perform mechanical adjustments, maintenance, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly. Provide ongoing technical support and build long-term relationships with clients to ensure equipment efficiency. Conduct monthly business trips (approx. 3-4 days per month) to support regional client sites. [ Working Hours / Working style ] 09:00

[ Qualifications ] Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or a related field). Relevant professional experience as a mechanical engineer or in a similar technical role. (Preferred) Hands-on ability to perform mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Fluency in English (written and verbal). Direct experience with machinery installation and commissioning is a big plus.
