Learn More About Energy Systems Job Purpose The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for driving EnerSys' growth by providing technical and commercial sales coverage for integrated DC power, energy storage, and lifecycle service solutions across assigned markets and territories. This role serves as the frontline technical-sales interface with customers, EPCs, OEMs, integrators, and channel partners, enabling solution-led selling and positioning EnerSys to win system-level opportunities rather than component-only sales. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support system-level selling of DC plants, batteries, enclosures, monitoring, and lifecycle services Translate customer requirements into technical solution concepts aligned with EnerSys and Alpha portfolios Engage customers, EPCs, integrators, and OEMs in application, specification, and architecture discussions Assist senior sales leaders with opportunity qualification, proposals, and deal progression Coordinate with Applications Engineering on complex or custom system designs Maintain opportunity activity and contribute to accurate forecasting Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Services on customer solutions Success Measures (KPIs) Revenue growth contribution within assigned markets or territories Growth in system-level and solution-based opportunities Quantity and quality of technical customer engagements Responsiveness and effectiveness of technical sales support Internal and external stakeholder satisfaction Core Competencies Technical sales and solution positioning System architecture and requirements translation Customer and partner engagement Cross-functional collaboration Territory and opportunity management Problem-solving in field and project environments
