Zero Trust Sales Engineer

Fort Meade, Maryland, USAZero Trust Sales EngineerThe Opportunity:
A Sales Engineer acts as the technical bridge between customers, coordinators, and internal engineering teams. The role translates mission needs into technical solutions, guiding capture efforts, and ensuring proposed architectures align with DoW requirements, security standards, and operational realities. This role will also be actively engaged in forward facing events and meetings to identify mission needs, collaborate with solutions architect teams, and shape the right technical solutions. The role with rapid acquisition paths, including the OTA process, enabling the organization to accelerate delivery, reduce barriers, and bring mission critical technologies to the warfighter with greater speed and agility.You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or systems engineering role supporting DoW or IC customers
- 3+ years of experience working with complex technical solutions that support the DoD, including Zero Trust solutions for mission operators
- Experience successfully creating and driving engagement-based approaches to acquisition, including driving whitespace growth and cross-selling capabilities and solutions into adjacent markets
- Experience in engaging with key client stakeholders to discuss company capabilities and services on several large-scale projects, including driving program of record creation and driving large acquisition vehicle work
- Experience in writing proposals and briefings as well as the ability to translate technical details into mission outcomes
- Knowledge of DoW acquisition FAR, DFARS, PWS, and SOW interpretation and compliance matrices
- Ability to travel CONUS up to 20% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS Diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working with DoD acquisition centers and Key Client Mission Stakeholders
- Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
- Experience with using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Word
- Experience with the successful execution of all phases of large and multi-year capture efforts
- Experience establishing relationships in the government and industry communities
- Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
