Conducts root cause analysis and develops engineering dispositions for design nonconformances while supporting technical investigations and solution development. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, support production and delivery activities, and maintain product safety and quality.               • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.
              g., Bachelor's degree) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master's degree + 3 years of related work experience). In the
              USA, ABET
              accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

              • Knowledge of drawing change processes (EQC, ELR, MCC, RR, MR, PRR). Job Duties & Functions
              • Assess and resolve product and process issues across the product lifecycle.
              • Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design nonconformances.
              • Research technical, operational, and quality issues and develop interim and final engineering solutions.
              • Identify, document, and analyze reported problems and communicate deviations impacting design intent and safety.
              • Develop and implement product and process improvements.
              • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews.
              • Represent engineering in build through post-production environments.
              • Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with engineering standards.
              • Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance.
              • Participate in on-site repair teams and accident investigation support.
              • Analyze damage repair or structural modification and determine appropriate jacking and shoring.
              • Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
              • Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards. Physical Requirements & Environment
