You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical sales strategy, working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering to maximize customer adoption and success. Your leadership will help establish the Solutions Engineering team as a trusted Center of Excellence within Indeed. This is a remote position with occasional travel for customer meetings, team events, and industry conferences. Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead, mentor, and scale the Solutions Engineering team, ensuring team members have the tools, training, and guidance needed to succeed. Develop and implement scalable solutions engineering strategies to support revenue growth and customer success. Define and refine SE best practices, technical sales playbooks, and enablement materials to improve efficiency. Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement Provide technical expertise in high-value sales conversations, RFPs, RFIs, and large enterprise negotiations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align technical sales messaging, customer feedback loops, and roadmap prioritization. Work closely with Sales Leadership to define and refine go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including vertical-specific sales motions. Skills/Competencies Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience. Experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role . Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing solutions engineering teams. Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messaging for enterprise customers. Demonstrated experience with API integrations, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise security architectures. Exceptional presentation, communication, and executive relationship management skills. Track record of driving strategic pre-sales initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and customer success. Salary Range Transparency Tier 1
