District Sales Representative

Position Overview The District Sales Representative will reside within the assigned territory and operate from a home-based office. This position requires early mornings, in-person customer interaction, and time spent preparing for customer calls during evenings and weekends. Success in this role is built on strong relationships, preparation, responsiveness, and a customer-first approach. Key Responsibilities Develop new business with restaurants, school systems, healthcare facilities, resorts, and other foodservice operations Manage and grow existing company accounts within the assigned territory Support customers with food products, supplies, equipment solutions, menu ideas, product samples, and operational guidance Identify opportunities to improve customer profitability and increase product distribution Manage customer credit and collections Oversee the day-to-day business operations of the assigned sales territory Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience required; foodservice industry experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for customer visits Ability and willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends What We Offer SGC Foodservice offers strong long-term growth potential within a stable, well-established organization.
