Job Description

Industrial Sales & Customer Project CoordinatorJob Overview Adam's Mobile Welding, Millwright & Crane Services is seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing customers. This person will maintain relationships with our current customers while actively developing new business and helping turn potential projects into completed sales. They will answer incoming calls regarding projects, services, parts, and estimates and work alongside the office administrator/owner to communicate customer and job information to our field crews. The right person will learn the services we provide, the parts and equipment we sell, the products we install, and the capabilities of our crews. Our work includes welding, millwright and crane services, grain storage and handling systems, equipment installation, repairs, fabrication, and other agricultural and industrial projects. This is not a position where you will sit behind a desk all day. You may meet with customers, visit jobsites, assist with project layouts, deliver parts to crews, and attend trade shows, conferences, dealer events, and other industry events. Training will be provided on our products, services, estimating process, and company software. Duties and Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming calls on the company-provided office cellphone Speak with customers about projects, repairs, services, parts, equipment, and estimates Build relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities Follow up on leads, pending estimates, potential projects, and previous customer inquiries Prepare and send estimates, proposals, and invoices using company software Meet with customers and visit potential jobsites to discuss projects the company may quote or bid Gather accurate project details, measurements, photos, and documentation needed for estimating Learn to read and create basic project layouts, drawings, and blueprints if not already experienced Maintain knowledge of the parts, equipment, products, and materials we stock, sell, fabricate, repair, and install Communicate with dealers and suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, promotions, and sales Accurately enter customer information, project details, call notes, estimates, and follow-up dates into company platforms Work alongside the office administrator/owner to communicate customer details and job information to field crews Assist with scheduling only when an emergency service call or urgent job requires immediate coordination Deliver parts, materials, paperwork, or other necessary items to crews when needed Attend and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, dealer events, and other industry events Work toward established sales goals and successfully close qualified projects Qualifications At least 1-2 years of proven sales experience, including closing deals and developing customer relationships Ability to provide examples of previous sales performance or success in closing business Strong verbal and written communication skills Confidence speaking with customers by phone, email, and in person Strong customer service, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple customers, estimates, projects, and sales opportunities at once Comfortable using computers, smartphones, email, CRM systems, estimating software, invoicing software, and other company platforms Ability to learn and explain technical products, services, and project details Ability to work independently while collaborating with company owners, office staff, supervisors, and field crews Strong attention to detail and the ability to protect confidential customer, pricing, project, and company information Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations, jobsites, conferences, and industry events as needed Preferred Experience Sales experience in welding, fabrication, construction, agriculture, grain systems, industrial equipment, millwright services, crane services, or a related industry Experience preparing estimates, proposals, work orders, or invoices Experience reading blueprints, drawings, or project layouts Familiarity with parts, materials, equipment, inventory, or job-management software Work Environment This position includes a combination of office work, customer communication, sales, estimating, and occasional fieldwork. The employee may visit active jobsites, meet with customers, attend conferences and industry events, and deliver parts or information to crews. Pay:
$16.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
