As the main point person for selling glasses, you will guide patients through frame selection, lens options, and the eyewear purchasing process. This position requires 40 hours per week in the office, with a schedule of 9:00 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays. You must absolutely love working with people and be genuinely positive and enthusiastic. We will train the necessary eye care skills if you already have the customer service experience or desire to make people think they are not at a doctor's office, but at Disneyland or a guest at a 5 star hotel. No experience needed, you bring the right attitude we train all the skills! Who we are We are a specialty eye care clinic dedicated to putting our patients' needs first. We work with individuals who have corneal conditions, amblyopia, strabismus, high myopia, and other complex vision needs. Responsibilities and Duties What you'll do: Be passionate about giving an engaging, enthusiastic and memorable experience for everyone who walks through the door from start to finish Make customers feel as guests into our home Ensure flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear and execution of all details as needed Work with various labs to accurately order the patients eyewear Verify that finished eyewear meets optical standards and patient's requirements/requests Answer phone calls and schedule appointments Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, and inform patients of any co-payments or uninsured services Bill patients out for exam services, collected co-pays and deductibles Qualifications and Skills Who you are: Able to project a professional image Great at communicating clearly and effectively- in person, on the phone, and online. People should love speaking to you over phone because you're just so darn friendly. Dedicated to making people happy- you exceed customer expectations with a great attitude while being a fantastic and fun team player Detail-oriented Cool under pressure and capable of juggling a diverse set of responsibilities.
