We are looking for a full-time sales representative to help maintain and improve upon our market presence in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The Sales Representative will be a part of a small and dedicated team that is working hard to service the entire Bay Area. The Sales Rep will be responsible for both on-prem and off-prem sales in the region, executing our market strategy, achieving sales targets and growth goals, all the while promoting and educating the public on our brand. Passion for the craft beer industry and a strong commitment to personal integrity are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain current accounts and relationships while providing attentive customer service.
• Manage weekly sales for both on-prem and off-prem accounts.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with key account holders.
• Achieve sales growth. Develop new accounts and placements.
• Follow up at accounts to ensure our beers are properly labeled, represented, stored, and served to our standards.
• Identify key accounts and execute a plan to help open and drive business to those accounts.
• Conduct educational training for our brand with customers.
• Report to management on general sales and provide relevant feedback from customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum one year of proven results in a sales capacity; industry experience as well as experience working in and throughout the East Bay preferred.
• Only highly self-motivated, organized, dedicated, and independent individuals need apply.
• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent required; four-year college degree preferred.
• Must be available to come to the brewery as needed as well as travel to accounts in assigned territory.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a good driving record and have a reliable registered, insured personal vehicle and ability to drive.
• Must live within Alameda or Contra Costa counties; while some tasks may be performed remotely, this job will require travel in assigned territory.
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer (approximately 25 lbs) as well as lift/move 50-pound kegs; ability to handle and use a dolly for larger kegs.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Passion for craft beer and general knowledge and understanding of beer styles.
• Strong communication and sales skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including professionalism with a customer service focus.
• Good time management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good computer and phone skills with the ability to complete administrative work as associated with the job. Knowledge of Salesforce, ekos, Google Suite, social media platforms strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Availability to work a flexible full-time schedule; may include evenings and weekend work.
• Cicerone and or BJCP Beer judging experience preferred but not required.
• Desire to have fun on the job and learn how to be better every day!
