Our client, a growing public adjusting firm, is seeking a rare breed of sales professional—someone who thrives on competition, loves the thrill of the chase, and refuses to let rejection slow them down. This is not a role for someone looking for comfort or routine. We are seeking highly driven, resilient individuals who excel in demanding environments where grit, persistence, and determination are the greatest predictors of success. As a Business Development Representative, you will be on the front lines building relationships, generating new business opportunities, networking within local communities, and helping homeowners and businesses navigate complex property loss situations. You will spend significant time in the field driving, prospecting, and developing referral partnerships while serving as a trusted resource during some of the most stressful moments in a client's life. For the right individual, this role offers significant earning potential, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Generate new business opportunities through field prospecting and networking Build relationships with homeowners, business owners, contractors, restoration companies, and referral partners Educate potential clients on the public adjusting process and available services Attend networking events and community outreach activities Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities Track activity and follow through on leads Travel extensively throughout assigned territories What We're Looking For Proven success in outside sales, door-to-door sales, business development, or outreach-driven environments Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Exceptional resilience and persistence Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability and autonomy Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Strong work ethic and competitive drive Valid driver's license and willingness to spend significant time in the field Highly Preferred Backgrounds Public adjusting Fire reconstruction Personal property remediation Restoration services Roofing sales Construction-related sales Home services sales Former project managers with business development responsibilities Compensation & Opportunity This role offers a highly competitive compensation structure with substantial upside for top performers.
