Alley Cat is one of the Bay Area's leading rodent exclusion companies, protecting more than 10,000 homes since 2016. We are looking for an experienced pest-control salesperson who knows how to inspect a property, identify problems, communicate value, build trust with homeowners, and close. We provide approximately four pre-qualified, company-generated appointments per day , with roughly half of our opportunities coming from referrals or returning customers. You can focus your time on what you do best: performing thorough inspections, educating homeowners, and closing high-value projects. This is a hands-on inspection and sales position. The quality of your inspection is the foundation of the sale. What You'll Do Run approximately four pre-qualified appointments per day Perform complete inspections of homes, including attics, crawl spaces, basements, interiors, and exterior perimeters Enter attics, crawl spaces, and other required areas wearing full required PPE Spend approximately 10 minutes in each accessible attic, crawl space, or basement to properly inspect the space Identify rodent entry points, contamination, structural damage, and conditions contributing to rodent activity Document findings with photos and prepare clear diagnostic reports and estimates Explain your findings and recommended solutions clearly to homeowners Close rodent exclusion, cleanup, insulation, and related home-service projects Follow up with open estimates and manage your sales pipeline Deliver a professional, consultative customer experience from inspection through close Why Sell With Alley Cat? Commission Target Total Compensation:

$120,000-$200,000+ per year Strong performers have significant performance-based upside. Who We're Looking For This is not an entry-level sales position. We are specifically looking for candidates with proven pest-control sales experience or strong in-home sales experience in a closely related home-service industry. You must be comfortable with the physical side of the job. This includes entering attics, crawl spaces, and basements while wearing full PPE and taking the necessary time to thoroughly inspect these areas. This is not a position where the salesperson simply arrives, gives a presentation, and leaves. A thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis are essential to succeeding in this role.

You should have:
