We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team and help drive sales growth while providing an exceptional customer experience. Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing customer relationships, responding to sales inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and identifying new sales opportunities. This position will work closely with customers, outside sales representatives, customer service, production, and other internal teams to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a motivated communicator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with prospective customers. Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and pricing information. Process customer orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery. Communicate product availability, lead times, pricing, and order status to customers. Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, shipping, and outside sales teams. Follow up on quotes and open opportunities to increase sales conversion. Maintain accurate customer, contact, quote, and sales information in the company CRM or ERP system. Resolve customer questions and issues professionally and efficiently. Recommend appropriate products or solutions based on customer requirements. Monitor customer accounts and identify opportunities for additional or repeat business. Meet or exceed established sales, customer service, and activity goals. Stay knowledgeable about company products, manufacturing capabilities, applications, and competitive offerings. Qualifications 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, account management, or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple customers, orders, and priorities simultaneously. Comfortable discussing pricing, products, specifications, and delivery requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Experience using CRM or ERP systems is preferred. Ability to read and understand product specifications, drawings, or technical information is a plus. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
