About FAM Vans Established in 1990, FAM Vans is California's leading pre-owned commercial vehicle dealership. We serve businesses, tradespeople, and fleets nationwide with sales, financing, and professional upfitting - all in one place. About the Role This is a full-cycle Salesperson role focused on handling inbound phone calls and walk-in customers, building relationships, and managing your own accounts from first contact through delivery. You'll guide commercial buyers to the right vehicle solution, coordinate financing and upfitting needs, and own the customer experience end-to-end. Responsibilities Customer Sales & Relationship Management Answer inbound phone calls, respond to inquiries, and follow up consistently Work walk-in customers from greeting through needs analysis, demo/test drive, and close Build and manage your own book of business (repeat customers, referrals, local accounts, fleets) Qualify customer needs (trade, payload/roof height, body style, upfit needs, budget, timing) and recommend best-fit inventory or alternatives Maintain professional, informative communication throughout the customer journey Full-Cycle Sales Execution Conduct walk-arounds and test drives; present value and ROI for commercial buyers Desk deals: prepare quotes and OTD estimates; start credit applications; structure deals within store policies Coordinate with F&I for introduction and contracting; manage trades CRM & Process Discipline Maintain accurate CRM notes Keep pipeline organized and move deals forward with consistent activity and follow-up Data Integrity & Reporting Maintain precise CRM notes: contact attempts, outcomes, next steps, ETA to close. Must-Haves Clear written and verbal communication; professional phone/text/email etiquette Proficiency with CRM/DMS and office Organized, persistent, and coachable; able to manage multiple active customers at once Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Nice-to-Haves 1+ year sales experience (automotive, commercial vehicles, or other high-ticket sales) Experience with commercial buyers (contractors/fleets) and basic upfitting vocabulary
Bilingual Compensation Salary Range:
$50,000 - $300,000
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
