Sales & Marketing Representative - Water Mitigation & Reconstruction Position Summary The Sales & Marketing Representative is responsible for generating new business and developing long-term referral relationships for the company's water mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage, and reconstruction services. This position focuses heavily on building relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, real estate professionals, homeowners, plumbers, contractors, restoration partners, and other referral sources. The Sales & Marketing Representative is expected to actively promote the company, generate qualified leads, maintain existing relationships, and represent the company professionally in the community. The ideal candidate is outgoing, motivated, organized, comfortable with cold outreach, and able to build trust with customers and professional referral partners. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Identify and develop new sources of restoration and reconstruction business. Build relationships with realtors, insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, plumbers, contractors, apartment communities, HOA managers, and other referral partners. Conduct in-person visits with potential referral partners. Make phone calls, emails, and other outreach to generate new opportunities. Follow up consistently with prospective customers and referral partners. Maintain relationships with existing referral sources. Identify opportunities for repeat and recurring business. Develop strategic partnerships that increase company referrals. Mitigation & Restoration Sales Educate customers and referral partners about the company's water mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage, and reconstruction services. Respond quickly to incoming leads and coordinate with the production team. Help identify the appropriate company services based on the customer's needs. Assist with converting leads into approved jobs. Maintain communication with customers from initial contact through project completion when appropriate. Identify reconstruction opportunities following mitigation projects. Help generate additional repair and reconstruction opportunities from existing relationships. Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with: Realtors Insurance agents Insurance adjusters Property managers Plumbers HVAC companies General contractors Roofing contractors Apartment communities HOA/property management companies Homeowners Commercial property owners Restoration professionals The Sales & Marketing Representative should become a trusted resource for these professionals when they encounter a property damage situation. Marketing Develop and execute local marketing strategies. Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, community events, and industry functions. Develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns. Assist with social media content and company branding. Coordinate promotional materials, business cards, flyers, presentations, and other marketing resources. Maintain an active professional presence in the local community. Identify new marketing opportunities and recommend strategies to management. Help maintain the company's online reputation and encourage satisfied customers to provide reviews. Referral Partner Program Develop and maintain a database of referral partners. Track referral activity. Schedule regular follow-ups with high-value referral sources. Provide referral partners with company information and educational materials. Coordinate lunches, meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities. Track which marketing activities are generating leads and revenue. Maintain professional relationships without making promises or representations outside company policy. Lead Management Respond promptly to new leads. Gather basic information about the loss or project. Obtain customer contact information, property information, and loss details. Enter leads and activities into the company's CRM or tracking system. Coordinate with the production/operations team for emergency response. Follow up on leads that have not yet converted. Track lead sources and conversion rates. Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities. Sales Goals & Performance The Sales & Marketing Representative will be expected to meet established company goals, which may include: Number of new referral relationships established. Number of sales calls and visits. Number of qualified leads generated. Number of mitigation jobs generated. Number of reconstruction opportunities generated. Lead conversion rate. Revenue generated from sales activities. Number of active referral partners. Customer retention. Referral partner retention. Marketing activity and engagement. Daily Responsibilities Typical daily activities may include: Contacting new potential referral partners. Visiting existing referral partners. Following up with leads. Calling previous customers. Networking with local businesses. Scheduling meetings and presentations. Updating CRM records. Promoting company services. Checking in with active referral partners. Following up on open opportunities. Communicating qualified leads to the production team. Planning upcoming marketing activities. Qualifications Previous sales, marketing, business development, restoration, construction, insurance, real estate, or property-management experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable making cold calls and conducting in-person sales visits. Ability to develop long-term professional relationships. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to effectively communicate with homeowners and industry professionals. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel locally to meet referral partners and attend networking events. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Water mitigation Fire restoration Mold remediation Reconstruction Insurance claims Property management Real estate Plumbing Construction Restoration industry CRM systems Digital marketing Social media marketing Compensation Structure Compensation may include: Base salary or hourly compensation. Performance-based commissions or bonuses. Monthly sales incentives. New-account bonuses. Revenue-based incentives. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, if applicable. Business development expense allowance, if applicable. Compensation structure should be established by management and tied to measurable sales and business-development results. Core Objective Generate qualified restoration and reconstruction opportunities, build strong referral relationships, and consistently increase company revenue while representing the company professionally. The Sales & Marketing Representative should be viewed as the face of the company in the community and should actively build the relationships that keep the company's mitigation and reconstruction pipeline growing.

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
