Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons- Promote and sell Chimney Rock wines, the Wine Club and merchandise
- Provide guests with a memorable and exceptional experience. This includes
- Educating guests about Chimney Rock's history, and describing wines and winemaking techniques
- Developing and cultivating ongoing relationships with guests and wine club members to encourage repeat visits, referrals and future sales
- Hosting an engaging tasting with exceptional customer service and hospitality as the foundation
- Setting up and conducting general and private tours and tastings for trade partners, VIPs or club members
- Assist with daily business functions, including opening and closing procedures, wine and non-wine inventory, and restocking
- Handle cash and credit card transactions through the point of sale system.
- Proficient in CRM, Internet, Point of Sale
- Prior tasting room, event or other sales (hospitality focused) experience
- Self-starter, clear communicator, positive team player, multi-tasker
- Wine knowledgeable, and effective sales person
- Must be at least 21 years in age
- Ability to lift up to 50lb
