The company focuses on delivering reliable, user-friendly software that supports the dynamic needs of event rental professionals. Role Description The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a full-time, on-site role based in Monterey, CA. The SDR will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social outreach, and follow-up on inbound leads. Day-to-day tasks include researching target accounts, identifying key decision-makers, scheduling product demos for the sales team, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. The SDR will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to execute lead generation campaigns, refine messaging, and develop a strong understanding of IntelliEvent's rental software solutions. This role also involves nurturing early-stage relationships, providing timely responses to inquiries, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Inside Sales and Sales to effectively manage the early stages of the sales cycle and hand off qualified opportunities. Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation and Business Development to identify potential customers, open new markets, and build a healthy pipeline. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to engage prospects professionally, deliver clear value propositions, and collaborate with internal teams. Relevant experience with CRM tools, sales outreach platforms, and basic data analysis to track activities and optimize performance. Ability to work on-site in Monterey, CA, manage multiple priorities, and meet or exceed targets in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in B2B software sales or the events/rental industry is beneficial but not required. Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
