Construction Sales & Estimating Representative Vejar's Design & Build Inc. is seeking a motivated and personable Construction Sales & Estimating Representative to help grow our customer base and assist potential clients with their construction and remodeling needs. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable meeting new people, developing customer relationships, visiting job sites, discussing project needs, and preparing estimates.

Responsibilities:

Generate new leads and bring in new customers for the company Follow up with potential customers and sales leads Meet with prospective clients at their homes, businesses, or project locations Conduct job-site walkthroughs to understand the customer's project needs Take measurements, photos, and detailed project notes Prepare accurate and professional estimates based on the proposed scope of work Communicate with management regarding pricing, project scope, materials, and labor requirements Follow up on outstanding estimates and help convert potential customers into contracted projects Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers Represent Vejar's Design & Build Inc. professionally in the community Assist with developing new business relationships and identifying opportunities for future projects

Qualifications:

Sales, construction, remodeling, or estimating experience preferred Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction is a plus Strong communication and customer-service skills Comfortable speaking with potential customers and developing new business Ability to take measurements and understand basic construction terminology Organized and able to maintain accurate project notes and follow-ups Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Dependable, professional, and self-motivated Ability to work independently while communicating closely with management

Compensation:

This is an hourly plus commission position. Base hourly pay Commission opportunities for qualifying new customers/business brought to the company Commission structure and eligibility will be discussed during the interview Opportunity to earn additional income based on successful sales and new business development
