This is a flexible, as-needed position rather than a regular office or administrative role. Most assignments will be within the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas accessible by car. Responsibilities Accompany manager to customer visits, sales meetings, job sites, showrooms, and trade shows Provide accurate Mandarin-English interpretation during business conversations Assist with communication regarding products, pricing, project requirements, delivery, and other sales-related topics Help explain and present our door, hardware, and building material products to customers Take basic meeting notes and help follow up on action items when needed Provide occasional sales and business support during customer visits Qualifications Excellent spoken English with strong business communication skills Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable communicating with customers, contractors, dealers, and other business professionals Flexible availability for assignments scheduled in advance Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically Sales, interpretation, construction, or building materials experience is a plus, but not required Product training will be provided Schedule Part-time / on-call / as needed. Hours will vary depending on customer meetings and business travel. Most assignments will be scheduled in advance. 4-hour minimum per assignment Compensation $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and language/business communication skills. Travel-related expenses and mileage, when applicable, will be reimbursed by the company.
