Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is centered on providing outstanding customer support, ensuring smooth order processing, and coordinating effectively with both customers and vendors. While the position involves handling quotes and technical information, the focus is on service, accuracy, and follow-through rather than direct sales targets.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service:
Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries by phone and email, ensuring prompt, professional, and accurate communication.
Quoting & Proposals:
Prepare and issue quotes for customers; support the external sales team with proposal documentation and information gathering.
Vendor Coordination:
Work with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information; follow up to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time.
Order Processing:
Enter, track, and manage internal orders; coordinate with production and logistics to ensure smooth fulfillment.
Logistics Support:
Arrange shipping and delivery details, monitor order status, and communicate updates to customers.
Technical Support:
Develop a working knowledge of industrial equipment and components to address customer questions and provide accurate information.
Team Support:
Collaborate with sales, operations, and management to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service consistency. Qualifications 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, or order management experience (industrial/technical field preferred but not required). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with CRM or order entry systems a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow through with attention to detail. A service-minded attitude and willingness to learn technical details of industrial equipment. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime opportunities may be available. Health, dental, and vision benefits available after probationary period. Paid time off and holidays.
