Job Description
Business Development Advisor Associate:
Sales and Pipeline Support Support Business Development Advisors throughout the prospect journey, from initial outreach and discovery through presentation, follow-up, and onboarding handoff. Help maintain an organized pipeline by tracking next steps, open items, advisor assignments, meeting status, and follow-up deadlines. Update Salesforce lead records, opportunity stages, lead statuses, follow-up tasks, and planning or presentation case details after each meeting. Conduct outreach by phone, email, text, and approved digital channels to help coordinate first and subsequent prospect meetings. Prospect Meeting Preparation Prepare customized PowerPoint sales presentations and prospect materials for Business Development Advisor meetings. Build MoneyGuidePro financial plans, run planning iterations, and create scenario analyses based on each prospect's goals and financial situation. Complete HiddenLevers analysis and gather relevant Mission Wealth resources based on each prospect's needs. Prepare internal meeting briefs that summarize prospect background, planning opportunities, meeting objectives, and recommended next steps. Data Gathering and Documentation Track documents uploaded by prospects and confirm whether all required information has been received. Follow up with prospects for missing documents, incomplete information, or additional details needed before meetings. Organize prospect documentation so that information is stored appropriately and is easy for the advisory team to access. Support data gathering, case design, and scenario building for prospective client meetings. Advisor Coordination and Follow-Up Coordinate scheduling with Business Development Advisors, Wealth Advisors, and advisory teams across Mission Wealth's regional offices. Confirm advisor assignments and send advisor summaries, prospect background, meeting information, and prep materials. Draft or send follow-up emails after meetings, confirm next meetings are scheduled, and send upload links, reminders, or requested resources. Maintain Salesforce process checklists so each opportunity has clear ownership, completed items, and next actions. Team Contribution and Growth Bring ideas forward, help streamline existing workflows, and improve how the sales support process operates across the marketing and advisory teams. Communicate effectively with multiple advisors and advisory teams across the United States. Grow personally and professionally with the support of the marketing sales team, advisory teams, and firm leadership, with the goal of advancing into a Business Development Advisor role.What you bring:
Basic financial knowledge, including familiarity with core planning concepts such as IRAs, Roth IRAs, investments, cash flow, retirement planning, and tax-aware planning conversations. A strong desire to build a career in wealth management business development and sales support. Excellent attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and time management skills. A great phone demeanor and the ability to communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally with prospects and internal teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including polished follow-up emails and clear advisor summaries. Comfort with financial planning language and the ability to translate complex information into client-friendly materials. Ability to create professional, customized PowerPoint presentations and supporting analysis. A high level of emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and confidence interacting with affluent individuals, executives, business owners, and families.Qualifications:
Series 65 required or ability to pass the Series 65 exam within 90 days of employment. Ability to achieve the AWMA and AAMS designations within 12 months of employment. Desire to pursue the Certified Financial Planner designation after the first year of employment. Strong knowledge base across investments, economics, accounting, and financial planning preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with Schwab Advisor Center, Fidelity Wealthscape, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, eMoney, Tamarac AdvisorView, Holistiplan, and HiddenLevers preferred.Job Type :

This position is based out of one of our offices in Lisle, Houston, Bellevue, Scottsdale, or Santa Barbara. This is an in-office position.Salary :
$80,000 annual base salary, plus $12,000 annual bonus paid in quarterly increments. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future to maintain employment authorization.
