Job Description

WSO is seeking an aggressive, proven, local, B2B Field Sales "Hunter", to join our team.
THIS IS AN EAST BAY ROLE.
Preferred candidate will reside in the East Bay. Territory will be the 680 corridor of the East Bay (Pleasanton through Walnut Creek) then the 242/4 up Antioch and Brentwood. The coverage will brand out to Tracy and Manteca. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with our Director of sales and product vendors, to sell and install Fuel and Lubricants to local companies. We offer fuel cards for use at service stations, but also deliver directly into their equipment/trucks or on-site tanks. We also provide lubricants (engine oils, hydraulic oil, coolant, grease, etc.) You can read more about it on our website at www.lubeoil.com. This is a "hunter" sales position, in which the sales representative is tasked with targeting and closing deals. You will need to find your leads and bring them to fruition.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Minimum (2) years of verifiable success in B2B sales
  • Experience selling B2B in a high activity sales environment
  • Knowledge in the oil/lube industry is a plus, but not required as we will train the right person
  • Trucking/Automotive understanding is a plus
  • Basic level Excel, Word
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
  • Strong sense of urgency and a roll-up-the-sleeves demeanor
  • Flexible, adaptable, team oriented with positive attitude and strong work ethic
COMPENSATION

Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs. May be tasked to service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Must have a clean driving record and be insurable
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
