Overview:
Sales Associate Lead We are seeking a dedicated and organized Sales Associate Lead to join our team. This role involves managing donation intake, ensuring proper inventory control, and providing excellent customer service to customers, and donors alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive attitude. Experience in retail sales, store management, or administrative roles is advantageous. The Sales Associate Lead plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our Restore while fostering a welcoming environment for donors and visitors alike. Responsibilities Greeting donors warmly and assist with the donation process Sort, categorize, and record donated items accurately using inventory management systems Ensure donations meet quality standards and adhere to safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the donation area, including cleaning and stocking supplies as needed Manage POS systems for processing donations and handling cash or card transactions Assist with merchandising efforts, including signage, planograms, and visual displays to promote donations Assist with light social media postings (i.e., webpage, etc.) Support store management in inventory control and stock replenishment Provide excellent customer service by addressing donor questions and providing information about the organization's mission Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and uphold branding standards Participate in training and development activities to improve skills related to merchandising, marketing, and customer engagement Experience Supervising experience is preferred; leadership skills are a plus Familiarity with retail sales, merchandising, or store management enhances performance in this role Experience in social media (most platforms), organization and implementation a plus Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with diverse donor populations Knowledge of schematics, planograms, interior design, remodeling, or branding can support visual design efforts within the donation center Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills is essential Organizational skills are critical for managing inventory, stock levels, and administrative tasks effectively Previous experience in retail math, pricing, cashiering, or inventory management will support daily operations Administrative experience including cash handling and POS operation is desirable This position offers an engaging environment where organizational talent and customer service excellence are highly valued. The Sales Associate Lead contributes significantly to community support efforts while developing versatile skills applicable across retail and administrative settings.
