Team Override Expected Earnings:

About the Role We are hiring a hands-on Residential Roofing Sales Manager to help recruit, train, coach, and grow our Project Manager sales team. This is not a behind-the-desk management role. The right person will be in the field with the team, helping PMs improve their prospecting, inspections, presentations, claims knowledge, follow-up, job management, and closing ability. You will partner closely with the General Manager and help scale our current PM team. This role is ideal for a proven residential roofing sales professional who knows how to sell, knows how to coach, and wants to build a high-performing team the right way. What You'll Do Lead and Coach Project Managers Train PMs through real field activity, including door-to-door prospecting, B2B referral development, inspections, customer presentations, follow-up, and closing. Recruit and Build the Team Help identify, interview, and select high-character Project Managers who align with Excel Roofing's culture and performance expectations. Develop Strong Sales Habits Hold the team accountable to consistent activity, CRM usage, customer follow-up, territory strategy, and disciplined pipeline management. Support Insurance-Driven Sales Coach PMs through storm restoration, claim paperwork, adjuster meetings, supplements, estimating, and customer education. Be Present in the Field Climb ladders, attend inspections, help with difficult customer conversations, ride along with PMs, and model what strong roofing sales leadership looks like. Improve Performance One Step at a Time Run weekly one-on-ones, review sales activity, identify performance gaps, and give clear coaching that helps each PM improve. Protect the Customer Experience Help PMs set proper expectations, communicate clearly, manage jobs responsibly, solve problems quickly, and protect Excel Roofing's reputation. The right candidate has:
Proven residential roofing sales experience Strong understanding of steep-slope roofing systems Experience with insurance claims, supplements, adjuster meetings, and restoration sales Prior experience coaching, training, mentoring, or leading sales reps or Project Managers Comfort with door-to-door prospecting and B2B referral development Ability to climb ladders, inspect roofs, and work outside in the field Strong CRM discipline and comfort using sales technology Calm, steady leadership style with a no-drama approach High standards for punctuality, professionalism, and follow-through Strong customer service instincts and the ability to hold people accountable This Role Is Not for
