The summary above was generated by AI Build the Future with Us — EquipmentShare is Hiring a Sales Development Associate EquipmentShare is searching for a Sales Development Associate based in Denver, CO to support our team as it continues to grow. EquipmentShare is seeking a Sales Development Associate to be responsible for driving revenue growth by supporting the sales team, developing customer relationships, and ensuring a seamless rental experience. This role serves as a bridge between inside sales operations and outside sales, helping to grow market share by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while providing outstanding customer service. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop into a Territory Account Manager (TAM) role in the future. The Sales Development Associate program will be based in Denver, Colorado, where associates will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and development alongside our sales leadership and local teams. Candidates must currently reside in the Denver area or be willing to relocate to Denver for the duration of the program. The SDA program is designed to prepare associates for future Territory Account Manager opportunities. Based on individual readiness, performance, business needs, and available opportunities, an SDA may transition into a TAM role as they progress through the program. Future TAM opportunities may be located in markets throughout EquipmentShare's footprint, so candidates should be geographically mobile and open to relocation following the program.

Salary range:

$60,000-$65,000/yr. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

Primary Responsibilities Sales and Customer Development:

Proactively engage with customers to identify rental needs and provide solutions that align with their projects. Support Territory Account Managers by qualifying leads, prospecting new accounts, and following up on potential business opportunities. Develop relationships with key decision-makers on jobsites, construction companies and industrial businesses. Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, including market trends, competitor activity, and EquipmentShare's full range of rental solutions. Generate quotes, process rental agreements, and ensure timely follow-ups to maximize revenue opportunities.

Operational Support and Coordination:

Work closely with rental coordinators and operations teams to ensure timely delivery, pickup, and servicing of rental equipment. Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. Assist in managing inventory and fleet availability to match customer demand. Utilize EquipmentShare's technology and CRM tools to track sales activity, customer interactions, and rental transactions.

Collaboration and Career Development:

Partner with sales and operations teams to improve customer experience and retention. Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop the skills needed to transition into a full Territory Account Manager role. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM tools and technology-driven sales solutions. Knowledge of construction equipment or rental industry is a plus. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Denver, CO area for the duration of the SDA program and be open to relocation for future Territory Account Manager opportunities.
