This is a customer-facing role that combines sales, service advising, technical product knowledge, project coordination, and customer relationship management. What You'll Do Customer Sales & Service Work directly with customers to understand their vehicle, goals, budget, and intended use. Recommend the right aftermarket parts, accessories, upgrades, and installation services. Prepare accurate quotes and provide information on pricing, availability, compatibility, lead times, and installation requirements. Handle customer inquiries, orders, special orders, and follow-up. Build long-term customer relationships through knowledgeable, honest, and professional service. Identify additional products and services that genuinely add value to the customer's project. Follow up on open quotes, orders, installations, and completed work. Address customer questions and concerns and work toward effective solutions. Service & Installation Coordination Coordinate installation and service work between customers and technicians. Ensure jobs are properly quoted, scheduled, documented, and communicated. Review vehicle fitment and installation requirements before work begins. Communicate customer expectations and project requirements clearly to technicians. Monitor job progress and keep customers informed of changes or delays. Coordinate additional parts, labor, or services when project needs change. Help ensure completed work meets company standards and customer expectations. Technical Product Support Use your automotive and aftermarket knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Assist with product compatibility, vehicle fitment, and installation questions.
Support product categories including:
Suspension and lift kits Wheels and tires Bumpers, armor, and skid plates Winches and recovery equipment Lighting and electrical accessories Roof racks and overlanding equipment Drivetrain and differential upgrades Steering, braking, alignment, and suspension components Other off-road and performance accessories Research products, specifications, compatibility, and installation requirements when needed. Stay current with new products, technology, installation practices, and Toyota/Lexus off-road trends. Help troubleshoot product or installation concerns and work with technicians when additional technical support is required. Customer Follow-Up & Project Development Maintain consistent follow-up on quotes, special orders, service estimates, and customer projects. Understand the customer's overall vehicle goals rather than focusing only on individual products. Help customers plan larger vehicle builds by organizing parts, services, timelines, and installation requirements. Maintain accurate customer, quote, order, and project information. Work toward individual and company sales goals while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. Industry & Community Support Share customer feedback, product knowledge, sales trends, and industry insights with the marketing team. Participate in content ideas involving new products, vehicle builds, customer projects, events, and promotions. Represent the company at trade shows, off-road events, enthusiast gatherings, product demonstrations, and industry functions when needed. Help promote our products, services, and expertise within the Toyota, Lexus, and off-road communities. Team Collaboration Work closely with technicians, sales staff, management, vendors, and marketing/social media team members. Clearly communicate customer requirements and project details between sales and service. Support coworkers with product, fitment, and technical information. Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment. Follow company procedures for quoting, sales, documentation, scheduling, and customer service.
What We're Looking For Required:
Experience in automotive aftermarket sales, parts sales, service advising, or a related automotive position. Strong knowledge of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, particularly 4x4 and off-road platforms. Knowledge of aftermarket parts, accessories, vehicle modifications, and installation requirements. Ability to understand and clearly explain technical information to customers. Strong sales and customer-service skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, orders, and service jobs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment. Comfortable using computers, POS/inventory systems, email, and business software. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Work Environment This is a hands-on, customer-facing position in an automotive aftermarket and off-road environment. The role combines sales, customer service, service advising, technical product support, project coordination, and industry collaboration. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for trade shows, off-road events, product demonstrations, and other industry activities. Compensation:
$26.00
00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE) 40+ hours per week Compensation includes 100% employer-paid annual healthcare premium for the employee (valued at approximately $6,000+). Coverage for dependents is available at the employee's expense.
