Position Summary:
Inside sales role, assist in daily accounting and financial processes. Help with inventory management. Assist customers in selecting correct products and applicable solutions to problems within reason. Maintain excellence in customer service and helping Agfinity be profitable with
Agronomic Retail Sales Essential Functions:
Make responsible product recommendations to clients and customers. Primary Attendant at Sales counter includes accurately entering sales invoices and answering phones. Receiving and counting money as well as accurately returning change Restock merchandise for sale in Henderson Agronomy Retail and organize warehouse and store. Enter stock transfers, purchase orders, stock additions, manage inventory, daily bank deposits, and prepare mix orders as necessary. Other duties as assigned
Other Duties:
Retail Counter Sales (60%) Answer Phone Calls (15%) Make Sales Calls (10%) Clean Retail Space, Restock and Organize Warehouse (10%) Periodically prepare bank deposits
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
Professional experience in horticulture, turf or agriculture required At least 1 year of customer service experience required Qualified Supervisor or Certified Operator Pesticide License with Category 206 or 207 ability to achieve within 6 months of employment.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with fertilizer and chemicals, turf and ornamental preferred. Learn and retain best practice information for application of merchandise sold Develop excellent customer relationship methods.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization Ability to accurately exchange money as well as enter invoices correctly. Good math and basic computer skills
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding, to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form Ability to read and interpret product labels and technical data related to chemicals and application Ability to work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner This position does require a pre-hire, post-offer criminal background check, and a drug screen.
