About the Role This role is ideal for a customer-focused, highly organized professional who thrives at the intersection of sales, customer service, and operations. The Sales Facilitator serves as a key liaison between customers, the sales team, and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry through order fulfillment. The Sales Facilitator will support business growth by coordinating quotations, processing orders, maintaining customer relationships, and proactively communicating throughout the sales cycle. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and sales inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status. Support the sales team by preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating customer requests. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and responsiveness. Manage order entry, tracking, and follow-up activities while maintaining accurate records in company systems. Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments regarding order progress, inventory availability, shipping schedules, and delivery expectations. Generate and distribute sales reports, customer activity updates, and other administrative support documents. Assist with lead generation activities, customer outreach campaigns, and prospect database management. Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and refer qualified opportunities to the sales team. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Accounting, and Logistics teams to meet customer requirements. Monitor open orders and proactively communicate any delays, changes, or issues that may impact customer expectations. Maintain customer pricing, account information, documentation, and communication records within CRM and ERP systems. Assist with sample requests, product information distribution, and customer onboarding activities. Investigate and help resolve customer concerns, order discrepancies, and service-related issues. Coordinate customer credits, returns, and supporting documentation as needed. Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed of market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs. Support special projects and administrative initiatives that contribute to sales growth and operational efficiency. Requirements Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination, inside sales, order management, or related business functions preferred. Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, specialty chemicals, life sciences, or other technical industries is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. Communication & Customer Focus Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines. Strong follow-through and accountability for customer requests and open action items. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Attention to Detail High level of accuracy in order processing, documentation, and data management. Strong proofreading, recordkeeping, and administrative skills. Ability to maintain complete and accurate customer information across multiple systems. Commitment to quality and process compliance. Technical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing CRM and ERP systems to manage customer information and sales activities. Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and software platforms. Ability to work effectively with digital communication, reporting, and workflow management tools.
